Something I noticed that stuck throughout the whole book was the witches. The first time I remember the witches was when Macbeth came in and we were introduced to them. This is what makes me remember the prophecy throughout the whole book. We slowly learn more about it and as the ending of the book comes we understand the outcome of the prophecy.
The outcome of the prophecy was nothing that I expected. It was a reversed truth. This causes me to remember to beginning of the book were I thought the witches were only good to Macbeth! The reserved truth of the prophecy is that the witches told Macbeth that he would somebody become king. Macbeth was impatient and started to kill people and thats where I think the the lie to the truth comes in!
I totally agree! The witches are very important to the book in many ways.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Also if he had just stopped he may have gotten away with Duncan,s murder. But instead, He made decisions based only on the prophesy and not off strategy.
ReplyDeleteThe witches had a huge role in the novel in my opinion, because without their prophecies, Macbeth probably wouldn't have done all that he did.
