In the song Let Her go by passenger the first thing I noticed was the rhyme scheme. It is repetitive but the words do not repeat and it makes it seem like more of a rhyme. When writing next to it my A, B, C's I noticed how it would be the same for 4 lines then change for one then go back. More than half of this song is in end rhyme which makes it unique. Along with the end rhyme there is also end stop lines through out this song. I never realized how much lyrics could relate to poetry.
The way these lyrics are sung are not in a poetic meaning. But the tone of these lyrics could come off as a poem. I found this song had lots of different poetry vocabulary we have learned but it was hard to identify at first.
